Hello! My name is Kirsten. I’m a mother of three beautiful kids and a wife to my husband of 16 years. My love for farming started when I was younger and my family would go help on a relatives amazing 300 acre farm in West Virginia. They had everything, cows, pigs, sheep, chickens. A beautiful garden and land to hunt on. It was paradise. My family started our own little farm with some chickens and Texas Longhorns, and even with the trials and hardships, I still feel a longing for the lifestyle.
Alongside of raising ADGA/AGS registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, Texas Longhorn cattle, and AKKPS registered KuneKune Pigs, I work full time at the local hospital in the Surgical Department as a Sterile Processing Technician. It’s not east working full time and running a farm while also raising kids but I love having a purpose and the challenge keeps me going.
